Our Purpose
The Elmwood Murdock Merchants Association (EMMA) web site supports the needs of the EMMA officers and membership by providing a convenient and up-to-date source of information about the Association's activities and members. Information regarding EMMA is also made available to the public for the purpose of promoting a positive image of the community and encouraging participation in our organization and its activities.

Dear friends,
As we close the year, EMMA thanks you for helping us have a strong year. We look forward to working with you through a happy and prosperous New Year. We especially thank our event sponsors for their significant donations to the Murdock 4th of July and Elmwood Holiday Extravaganza.
The Holiday Extravaganza and Knight Glow parade in Elmwood were a tremendous success. Look for Christmas lights on sale, because the light parade was so much fun we plan to do it again next year! If you have pictures of the Holiday Extravaganza or Light Parade we want to encourage you to send them to us at merchants@elmur.org so we can post them on the web site.
We have much to look back on and be proud. EMMA will continue our work to make our communities strong. We have important projects in the works for the new year to tackle the changes and economic challenges that we all face. Our officers for 2010 are President - Kurk Shrader, Secretary - Bonnie Brewer, Treasurer - Brandon Collins, Newsletter - Pat Ervin, Website - Tim Sorensen, Event/Grant Coordinator - Marie Gregoire. Instead of a banquet in January, we plan to have a customer appreciation day in early spring. Look for our upcoming newsletter.
Please join us in our efforts for 2010. If you have not yet activated your membership for 2010, please download a form and send it to EMMA, PO Box 92, Murdock, NE 68407 along with your annual dues of $25 for businesses, and $10 for individuals.
